K-State Surges by Sycamores in Second Half

Brittany Chambers scored 13 of her game-high 20 points in the second half and Kansas State used a late second-half surge to pull away from Indiana State for a 64-48 win Wednesday night at Bramlage Coliseum. Kansas State held a 45-40 advantage with 5:49 remaining in the contest, but the Wildcats went on a 19-8 run to close out the game and move to 3-0 for the eighth time in head coach Deb Patterson's 15 years at the helm of the Wildcat program.
