William Powell's K-State Career is Over

Everyone's favorite K-State beat writer is reporting that William Powell is done for the year. This stinks on so many levels. WeePo was a good soldier and a tremendous offensive threat, who will be missed drastically during these last three games. This is certainly John Hubert's time to step up and make a claim as a member of the offensive plans moving forward, particularly for next season, when one Bryce Brown will become eligible. But all that aside, I just completely hate this for WeePo. Sometimes football, like life, just isn't fair.

The story also notes that Alex Hrebec is improving, which is good, but doesn't mitigate much against the fact that Powell is done.
