Around SBN: NFL Players Ready To Welcome Gay Teammate

K-Statriots is also saying this, and it's the rumblings I'd been hearing today. It's really too bad, but at least he's a young guy, who can come back strong next year.

Hey Snyder, next time your team is getting smoked

TAKE OUT THE STARTERS. KSU doesn’t have any depth in any position but WR and QB (maybe) please take care of them

I understand your frustration, Sean, but

I don’t have a problem with Brod being in the game at that point. Don’t underestimate the importance of pride, and that’s what was on the line there. He was playing his heart out, trying to get DT into the end zone on that play — trying to salvage some semblance of pride for the Purple. I’d have a MUCH bigger problem if he’d been hurt while playing in a game with the score reversed.

Very true

At least the offense kept trying in the game. More than can be said of the defense it seemed.

Even with the D,

I think they were playing hard to the end, they were just outclassed, especially speed-wise. I watched the defense closely when they showed sideline shots after a couple of Martinez’s runs, and those guys did not look like they had given up. They were frustrated and angry, but they just didn’t have the same tools to work with that the NU offense did. I had a lot of complaints about last night — as I outlined in my story earlier — but the guys not trying hard enough was definitely NOT one of them. I don’t think there’s any giveup in this team. There’s just a lack of elite talent on the defensive side of the ball, particularly.

That sucks

Never like to see that happen to anyone, opponent or not.

I hope the guy comes back strong next season!

Thank you

for being a respectable fan. I really appreciate when people can do something like that.
