K-State Slate October 5, 2010

No Slate today so I think I'll jump in with what little I've seen

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/news?slug=ap-t25-nebraska-stoppingthomas - How Pelini and the "whiny-little-girls" are not worried about DT. After what the running game did against UCF, I wouldn't be worried either. Good thing the Cats know they did poorly, as is seen by the next article:

http://cjonline.com/sports/football/2010-10-03/cats_hope_to_restart_running_game - Thank God the O-line was embarassed. Now maybe they'll come out and pound the snot out of NU.

From ESPN's Ubben another version of basically what is above - http://espn.go.com/blog/big12/post/_/id/18594/communication-key-to-stopping-thomas. I keep forgetting that last year DT actually did quite well against NU's D (19 for 99) and we all know he and the line are better than last year. Here's hoping DT can do 30 for 200 this year!

Article from the Mercury about the team's mood - http://themercury.com/k-statesports/article.aspx?articleId=9b10e79693e647d49e0c45b8b72d12bb Best quote from the article "K-State coach Bill Snyder said it's because the Wildcats' four wins haven't been runaways that has maybe allowed his team to keep its confidence level at a reasonable level to this point." I do like how the Cats have started the season. But for the pre-season polls, I like to think that KSU would be ranked now. No name-teams on the wall, but three quality teams feels pretty good.

Finally, an article from the Star - http://www.kansascity.com/2010/10/04/2276624/huskers-to-make-final-conference.html.
