Saturday's loss apparently led to a tense Monday practice for K-State.  As long as that doesn't mean the offense and defense are at each other's throats -- and Carson Coffman insists that's not the case -- that's fine with me.  Bill Snyder has often said it's good for a loss to hurt.  It means the game matters.

This was posted in another thread.  Take it for what it's worth.  Snyder only said they need to coach better, not that changes are going to be made on the defensive coaching staff.

Think a good thought for Colorado quarterback Tyler Hansen, who ruptured his spleen in Saturday's loss to Texas Tech and is still in the hospital.

Cowboys Ride for Free has more on the Justin Blackmon DUI, but no definitive word yet on whether he will play Saturday.

Kevin Haskin has his musings at the midweek.
