I like what Baylor did...

…I can’t imagine why they wouldn’t want to participate in an overblown self-congratulatory celebration. Disrespect Sherron? Please.

I'm only sad they couldn't pull off the win

I would pay money for Baylor to take on the Jay-chickens in the Big 12 tourney, and beat them there!

Count me as one KU fan...

that has no problem with Drew (or any coach) taking their players off the court during KU’s video montage and player introductions. It is very loud. Have to say though, for fans of the home team it is a pretty cool video.

What I do have a problem with regarding Drew is him yelling “Box Out” as a KU player is taking a foul shot – particularly when it’s the first shot of a 2 shot foul. A bit tacky in my opinion. Imagine him doing that at Bramlage when a KSU player is shooting free throws. Not cool – at least not for a coach.

Agreed on both points...

…especially on the second one, if it’s the first shot of a two-shot foul. Of course, there’s plenty of chatter going on in the lane anyway, but I digress.

As for the video thing, I’d take that as a compliment to the video department. They made a video that gets the crowd into such a frenzy that a Big 12 team didn’t want to be part of it. Back in the day, some of the patsies Nebraska would play in football would remain in the locker room until the “Tunnel Walk” was over, because they didn’t want their players to be awestruck by the noise and the atmosphere. To the KU fans, players, and coaches who were upset by what Baylor did, I offer this: Baylor was there to win a game, not worship at the altar of KU basketball.

We'll carry the banner high!

Very much agreed...

He has two more minutes to go over things with his team and there’s not a chance they could hear him in there, so the tunnel makes the most sense. that couldn’t have bothered me less. Pretty much everything else Scott Drew did (does), however…

Who doesn't want to worship KU basketball?
not worship at the altar of KU basketball

Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.
