PrintJust thought we should have a forum to post all the places K-State is getting mentioned today. Besides the constant highlights from Sportscenter, Around The Horn just opened the show discussing not only K-State's win over Texas, but also the "classy" fans who where smart enough to not rush the court showing we expect to beat good teams as well as Frank Martin and his great coaching. One of the guys also mentioned that he feels Curtis Kelly should be a POY candidate. Share some links to the Wildcat love fest!!

before the UT game, I was saying that we should just bench him for the rest of the year. Personally I’d take more minutes from Wally. Curtis is gonna disappear again folks. He just doesn’t have the drive, I don’t know if it’s his personality or what, but he just doesn’t have what it takes to be a big time player every game. It seems like he tries too hard on the offensive end, and then he doesn’t try hard enough on the defensive end.

I actually laughed out loud when he said that but hey its news and it involves a k-state player for something good. CK had the best game of his career to this point and showed signs of possible greatness but until thats a day in day out thing, no POY talk needed.
Or maybe he just broke through a wall that was thrown up
by him missing two seasons.
I saw a hell of a lot of drive last night. And he was an absolute man against James and Pittman on defense.
Give the coaching staff a chance to work their magic. Hasty assessments of CK over the past few weeks looked kinda silly last night, is all I will say.

Didn’t know if you guys saw KU beat writer Tully Cocoran’s blog today about Texas. I think the Capital Journal has the best and least retarded beat writers and I appreciated somebody from outside us and our fans saying that maybe, just maybe, we are the reason these teams keep playing crappy against us.
