The Protest Playoff has been very good to USC. That's four championships now, which is three more than any other team. And beating St. Tebow to win the fourth? That's the icing on the Trojan cake.

Next Week

That's the end of the Protest Playoff... for now. I have some ideas for a few other playoff fields to try out come bowl season, but I need a break from this project for a while. I've covered the entire BCS era (1998-2008) and I think it's been an interesting look at what could have been, but now it's time to turn our full, undivided attention to K-State football.
