Kitchen: What's in a tweet? A lot if you're Michael Beasley's mom
Here's a really good commentary on Beasley's situation by 810's Curtis Kitchen.

This nails it on the head.
There is more to this story than a young professional athlete with too much money and too much ego. The guy is obviously struggling with some serious mental and emotional issues. I was appalled to read J.A. Adande’s article this morning that called Michael out on “questionable background”. What was more disturbing were the Tweets of a couple NFL players that almost made fun of Mike’s situation.
He didn’t beat up his girlfriend or go into a club with a loaded weapon. I just don’t understand the hostility and the “I told you so” mantra that is being played out in a couple of outlets. Depression and social anxiety are serious disorders that should be treated. As human beings it’s disgusting to see someone mock another person for something that is obviously out of his control.
Get well, Mike.

This is the EPSN we've come to know and love...
A media outlet stocked to the brim with egoistical writers who get their kicks out of being right more than being compassionate.
In a universe where outlandish news isn’t just accepted, it’s glorified, the people in the news are the ones who suffer. People with legitimate issues are vilified (Beasley), while men with true character issues (Rose) are promoted as heroes.
It makes me sick to my stomach to think that this is what the Fourth Estate has devolved into. What’s left if a perverse, mutated step-cousin that is more interested in being TMZ than being an actual news outlet.
