Prince Wants Another $3 Million for Being a Horrible Football Coach
I'm trying to be cool here, but it's hard. Words can't describe how much I've come to dislike this man in the past twelve months.

I'm not going to say much here...
…but I will note that this seems like almost a desperation move by Prince and his attorneys. I’m not sure why they’d be desperate at this point, but to put it in the simplest terms, punitive damages are almost never available in an action for breach of contract.

Man, I dislike that fat sack of crap
He’s so shortsighted. This move makes him un-hire-able in the future. No school would take a chance on a guy who pulls this instead of just being happy with a settlement … and who, by the way, really sucks as a coach, too.
But then, we always knew Prince Ron was shortsighted. He burned Xzavier’s redshirt and recruited 19 jucos, for Chrissakes.
My initial thoughts were...
that his attorney and he figured on settling on the disputed MOU and settling on this fresh new BS to end up with more or less the full amount of the MOU in the first place.
I would think Prince’s actions would not be conducive to sleeping well at night especially considering he has not gone into hiding. Not that I’m suggesting that some crazy person do something.

Yeah, it's pretty clear...
…that they’re playing the bargaining game. Our university’s attorneys need to be up to the task now that the stakes have been “raised.”

Personally, I think he's committing career suicide...
You won’t get a lot of jobs in the future if you’ve been fired for cause and:
1) You get an overinflated buyout
2) You sign a secret agreement with the school that causes an uproar
3) Then sue over the secret agreement because you don’t think it was a secret agreement
Let’s see, after getting fired, Prince is trying to get nearly $7.4 million from K-State. This isn’t backpay…this is money owed to him AFTER he got fired.
Granted, if he gets anything close to this, he’ll never have to work a normal job again, and he can go work for FSN or something as a broadcaster, but still, I doubt he’ll ever see a BCS level job again because the sentiment out there will be that he’s a con artist.
Which, really, he kind of is.

I don't know if it will hurt him quite that much
I’m not sure he was going to get another BCS job anyway. I still didn’t understand the hire by KState in the first place. He was the offensive coordinator at Virginia while I was in grad school there and he seemed pretty terrible; although they haven’t really improved since he left, so maybe it wasn’t his fault.
I just don’t know if this falling out is going to hurt him that much. If he becomes a coordinator and tears it up, I expect someone will hire him.
My question is what do you think will mak him more hireable: if it turns out he’s right and the top levels at the University knew about it and he gets more money, or if he’s wrong and ends up getting less money? I could see either one being both positive and negative.
I think it is pretty clear
he never wants to coach college football at the D-IA level again, especially not for a BCS school.
You don’t pull this kind of crap and then expect to get another job.
