Tell me again whats so special about Kite’s that it could be the best sports bar?

It's the only one in Aggieville that is represented?

When I was at K-State it was 12th Street Pub. I know Kite’s existed in the past and does now, but I have no experience with either. I’ll vote for them anyway.

The bar I worked at closed down not long after I started there. :

It's the only one from Manhattan represented

but it’s also going against other bars from all across the nation. It’s been a few years since I’ve been there, but I don’t remember ever wanting to go watch a game there. I don’t even think they had too many TV’s anyway.

The new side would be a solid sports bar...

…with quite a few TVs and a large bar area. Other than that, I would agree, it’s not really what I consider a traditional sports bar. Tubby’s is more of a sports bar than Kite’s, but if I’m in Manhattan and going out on the weekend, I’m probably going to Kite’s.

If I'm in Manhattan

I am most likely be going to the games. As for going out, Porter’s and O’Malley’s are the first places I visit.

Surely there are better ones out there...

But I haven’t been to any of the competitors either. I vote ignorantly, just like I do for political elections. It all won’t matter when I become king.

Finally, mobile commenting!

Coming to you straight from the office bathroom….

Not really. I’m with you guys, I voted only because it was the ony Manhattan/Aggieville bar up there. When I was in school, it was fun to go hang there in the afternoon, but at night it was too crowded and full of douchebags to make it fun. The new side is pretty sweet, though it’s pretty small, so I haven’t been able to get in there to watch a game yet.

I will say, the bar has more history than most of the other places in the Ville. My Dad says that’s where he would go all the time, back when it was the original Kite’s after it opened.
