I like his take on the draft eligibility.
And I do think baseball has this right. I have no sympathy for a kid who forgoes a chance to earn a free education by deciding he is ready to go professional. That is his choice and the NBA, MLB, etc. should not have to take any slack for a player’s decision. Not everybody coming out of high school is going to be Kobe or Lebron, but if they are they should not be forced to spend a year in college.
