Wasn't there a player from the UT championship football team
that said basically the same thing? It seems like he told the sideline reporter after the game that people had been doubting them all year, or something to that effect. Am I remembering this correctly?

That was in reference to Texas being ranked behind USC all year and being huge underdogs in that game.
