Bat Cats Earn #2 Seed in Houston Regional
The dream season for the K-State baseball team continues as the Cats are set to play their first ever NCAA Baseball Tournament game on Friday in Houston at Rice's Reckling Park. KSU will face off against the #3 seed Xavier Muskateers. Game times have yet to be announced.

Disappointing not to be hosting...
…but not surprising considering how we finished. Reckling Park is a tremendous setting, and the Cats should be used to playing in Houston after this season’s opening series against UH.

Anyone have thoughts on when to pitch AJ?
Can see arguments for and against pitching him in game 1. Personally, I think you throw him against Xavier, get the win in the opener and get into the winner’s bracket, see what happens when you get there.
Either way, seems to be a pretty good draw for us, not hosting aside. Get through the regional and I’ll take our chances with AJ in a three-game series. Probably shouldn’t put the cart before the horse…
