I'll try and be here as much as possible.
Between trying to watch/listen to the game and also contributing to a live thread while at work, I may end today in the unemployment line. Does that say something about my home life when my main contributions to this blog are comments in a live thread while at work?
Anyone else going to be around?
I'll jump in from time to time
but I won’t be able to watch/listen to any of the games.
Introducing the new 2008 Big 12 Football Champions: OU, UT*, TT*, and MU*!
0-0 in the third (I think)
You know, since they have this live video feed, the least they can do is throw a score and inning visual up on the sceen. Sheesh.
Jurica strands Muenster on third to end 3rd inning.
Adam stole 2nd and 3rd in that sequence and we leavehim hanging. Uggh.
The Live Stats haven't been all that 'live' either.
Hail to the Purple, Hail to the White
Wildcat in spirit, Wildcat in fight
Hail Alma Mater from sea to sea
Onward forever, Hail Victory!
HR for KU.

Excuse me.
King had the single. Bier just walked. Runners 1st and 2nd. Blankenship coming in for KU. Third pitcher of the inning for the Hawks.
Top 7
3-1 Cats. Couple things to note:
1.) OKC definitely appears to have the best set up for this tournament. I’ve never been down there for the games, but I’ve been to Bricktown on several occasions. Great atmosphere, nice downtown, good location, and a beautiful ballpark.
2.) Still plenty of good seats available. It looks like there may be 500 people (if that) in the stands.
3.) The audio feed along with the video is through the Sirius/XM feed. Not sure who the announcers are, but so far they have been pretty solid. No derogatory comments at either side, and you have to love the enthusiasm they provide considering it’s a 9 a.m. game in front of a couple hundred fans. One guy sounds like Ryan Lefevbre….
4-4, tied up again top of the 8th.
Missed the entire 7th inning, but sounds like KU took the lead, and we tied it back up with an unearned run.
woot!

Congrats to the Wildcats.
Who knows, maybe the KU – KSU series is not over yet in 2009. Both teams have a slim shot at getting to Omaha.
After watching KSU play all week I’ll break ranks for a minute here. I know if I were a KSU fan I’d have no trouble cheering for Rob Vaughn. I love the grinders. Nick Martini looks really good for a freshman. Carter Jurica didn’t show KU much, but I know from his season stat line he would be one of my favorites if I were doomed to cheer for purple.
A ton of KSU fans showed up for the games in Lawrence on Saturday and Sunday. Just guess work here, but I’d say there were at least 500 Wildcat fans there each night.
BTW, Baylor is beating down Texas in game two. BU is up 14-9 in the 9th inning. Never saw that coming.
www.rockchalktalk.com for pretty good KU baseball coverage
Thanks JQ
We’ll be pulling for KU tomorrow.
We'll carry the banner high!
