Baseball

• Tonights game against Missouri is the first in a three game home series. There will be a pre-game tailgate from 5:00-6:30 PM, and there will be fireworks after the game.
  
  Also, this means that the Unholy Alliance is suspended for the next three days.
  
  
  Bring it on, Tigers! We will beat you with our sticks of fire!



• Relief pitcher Thomas Rooke has been added to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) "Stopper of the Year Award" Midseason Watch List
• Daniel Dellasega has been named to the Community of Champions team.
• The Topeka Captial Journal has a nice piece on the impact of new hitting coach, Andy Sawyers.

Football

• What's more important: recruiting or coaching? Austin Meek asks the question.
• The Big 12 ranks third nationally in attendence, but Kansas State ranks eleventh out of twelve in the conference according to Tim Griffin.

Basketball

• We've got recruiting tidbits for you today! Austin Meek chimes in about the absent late signee, Devon Peterson.
• Jeffrey Martin has news on Wichita phenom, Perry Ellis, five-star talent Latavious Williams, and the Manhattan Classic.

• The Volleyball team will open their season on Aug. 28-29 in Omaha.
