Granted, most of you have access to ESPN.com, but I figured that since some of you probably come here before you go there, we'd update you on the progress of the tournament so far.
Here are last night's results:
"San Diego St." Region
#1: San Diego St. - 65
#8: Weber St. - 49
The winner of the Kansas St./Illinois St. game will play at a yet to be determined site in San Diego for the second round game.
#3: South Carolina - 63
#6: Davidson - 70
#2: Saint Mary's (CA) - 68
#7: Washington St. - 57
Davidson will travel to St. Mary's for their second round game.
"Creighton" Region
#2: Notre Dame - 70
#7: UAB - 64
#3: New Mexico - 83
#6: Nebraska - 71
#4: Kentucky - 70
#5: UNLV - 60
"Florida" Region
#2: Penn State - 77 (OT)
#7: George Mason - 73
#3: Niagra - 62
#6: Rhode Island - 68

With the NIT...
you don’t get the conference tournament scrubs like in the NCAA tournament…If we get past Illinois State and San Diego State we will get the winner between Davidson and St. Mary’s (!!!)
Well, just focus on IL State first and worry about the next game later.
