K-State women a No. 5 seed, will play Drexel
Let's hope the dreaded 5/12 upset isn't as prevalent in the women's bracket. A win over Drexel likely means a matchup with Vanderbilt in the second round.
The women open the tournament at 9 p.m. Saturday in Albuquerque, N.M.

Good luck to the ladies.
I’ll be watching from my parents’ home in SE Kansas. Much nicer confines than inside the Pit, I’m told. I expect a first-round victory and possibly an upset of Vandy in the second round. It would be nice for Shalee and the other seniors to make a run this year.
