Cats are No. 4 seed in NIT, will play Illinois State Wednesday
The Wildcats will welcome home Redbird head coach Tim Jankovich, assistant coach Anthony Beane and athletic director Sheahon Zenger (hopefully someone can arrange for him and Dr. Schulz to "bump" into each other) for an as-yet-untelevised match-up on March 18 at 7 p.m. in Bramlage Coliseum.
Should the Cats win, they would advance to play the winner of No. 1 San Diego State vs. No. 8 Weber State.

Furthering the K-State reunion feel in this tournament
A potential game between Creighton coach Dana Altman and UNLV coach Lon Kruger, who once coached together in Manhattan, looms in the 2nd round.
Probably OT: KWTX bloggers ignore Nebraska being in the NIT.
Someone should set up a poll quizzing people in Texas about how much they know/care about the Big 12 North.
Hail to the Purple, Hail to the White
Wildcat in spirit, Wildcat in fight
Hail Alma Mater from sea to sea
Onward forever, Hail Victory!
Well to be fair
They are located in Waco. Not too much goes on there. I’m surprised someone outside the university knows how to access a web page.
And to answer your poll question – I would choose:
a) Who cares, Norman is the farthest north city in Texas/U.S. so who cares?
Man do I hate Longhorn fans, well except for the ones that actually went there.
b) Sorry, I don't follow Canadian sports.
Hail to the Purple, Hail to the White
Wildcat in spirit, Wildcat in fight
Hail Alma Mater from sea to sea
Onward forever, Hail Victory!
So who's going to organize the NIT tournament pool?
or do we skip that and just do an NCAA one even though we’re not in it?
Man do I hate Longhorn fans, well except for the ones that actually went there.
