Curtis Kitchen: Dalonte Hill Responds to Gary Williams' Comments
I wasn't aware that Gary Williams said this, but I'm glad Curtis wrote about it.
I'm getting really tired of hearing people moan about Dalonte Hill's salary. He's worth every penny of that and then some, in my opinion.

Williams is looking to point the gun at anyone but himself
The growing infection of a losing program will cause you to do that. Sounds like Gary missed the boat with Dalonte, and pointing to his (current) salary is an easy way out.
Once again, Dalonte, you are worth every penny.
Williams did the same thing...
…a few years ago, when he was complaining about the high RPIs of Missouri Valley Conference teams like Creighton and Missouri State. He basically accused them of cracking some sort of RPI code, like you could somehow be a really bad team with a great RPI in the MVC but not in the ACC. His whining is really getting on my nerves.

Prince George's County is the single-highest per capita producer of basketball talent in the countryAn
And Williams is missing them ALL. It’s not just Dalonte pwning him, it’s Syracuse, Georgetown, UConn and everyone else.
Yeah, I don't think Dalonte was holding out for that kind of money...
at that time.
What an excuse.

I'm definitely on y'alls side, in this one.
First off, yes, Dalonte Hill is worth every penny. You need a really, really good recruiter to get major talent to K-State (don’t take that the wrong way, it’s just how it is), and Hill is definitely that. He’s worth it.
Plus, Gary Williams just bitches all of the time. It never ends. Geez, he pisses me off.
Of course, plenty of that hatred comes from them beating us in the 2002 Final Four. But, even besides that, he is a hideously overrated coach who whines whenever stuff doesn’t go his way.
Boo.
