i actually kindof miss the nice changes in season and weather but not sure i miss the blizzards. I remember in like 2002/2003 when kstate beat texas at home and there were only a few hundred people at the game becasue of the same conditions that are happening tonight. I was at that game and have to say it was one of the best games to watch ever

Anyone listen to Armstrong's apology today on 810?
I might have to take back a few of the things I have said about him. That was very professional of him.
That said, I still don’t think he’s that great of a broadcaster, even if the “pro-KU bias” thing is a little overblown sometimes.
But he had some nice things to say about the Cats tonight, and I can’t help but think that if he had just said them during the game last night, there wouldn’t have been this big shitstorm today.
All people want is a little validation of their team, and I think it was the pro-Xaver/minimizing Xavier’s mistakes aspect that set people off, more than the statue flub.
I hope it wasn't the statue flub...
…because while that’s a dumb mistake, it hardly warrants a firestorm that demands a public apology.

I think it was the straw that broke the proverbial camel's back
But yeah, I guess he got a lot of e-mails about it and felt bad enough to apologize publicly.
I’m willing to give him a slight pass for a while. I honestly don’t think he realizes how often he awkwardly shoehorns KU into the conversation … and I also think we’re more sensitive to it than most.
What did he say?
What did Armstrong say? I heard Kietzman and someone talking about the fact that he had apologized, but now specifically what he’d said.
