RPI WATCH: 12/24/2009

The Cats slid up a spot in both three-letter acronyms. Yay!

That was due to a mixed bag of results last night.

On the positive side of the ledger, Xavier and Alabama collected wins, UNLV won impressively in Hawai'i, and Missouri got off its nine-year schneid and claimed some Braggin' Rights.

On the negative side, Huggs schooled his xenophobic disciple, IUPUI lost to fall out of the RPI Top 50 (probably overdue) and Nebraska got clobbered by the Mormons, whose fans -- I assume -- hung around in Sin City after their butt-whooping of Oregon State.

There will be no RPI WATCH tomorrow because there were no games today. So let me take this opportunity to wish you and all of yours a Merry Christmas from all of us here at BOTC. And for those of you in Kansas, stay safe and stay warm tonight.
