Stewart Mandel Projects Cats to Sun Bowl
Yes, it's very freaking early to talk about bowl game considerations. Still, it's fun to guess where K-State may end up for Christmas break. While Stanford isn't exactly an exciting match up possibility, I wouldn't care if we were playing Tennessee Tech again as long as we got the extra month of practice. Now if we can just win one of our next two...

….has the Cats projected for the Alamo Bowl.

I would think they would choose OU over K-State
but I guess it depends on how OU finishes.

Also has us in the Alamo Bowl

I don’t put too much stock into this guys projections however…he doesn’t have OU going to a bowl at all apparantly…
BOOM! ROASTED!
I'm not entirely sure OU even will be bowl eligible
Three season-ending injuries this week, two on an already devastated and underperforming offensive line?
I’m not sure OU can handle that kind of adversity. All of their goals are shot.
OU doesn’t care about the Independence or Insight bowls. We’re really going to learn a lot about Bob Stoops the next three weeks, because it’s conceivable they could lose all three of these games.
Seriously?
When is the last time OU dropped a game to A&M? I don’t see that happening even with OU’s third stringers.
Who saw them losing to NU?
Or giving up 30 points to Grant Gregory? This aint your dad’s OU.
Upon further review…the NBC link I posted, he forgot about the Sun Bowl entirely…
BOOM! ROASTED!
NBC doesn't do college football.
They do Notre Dame, and that barely passes for college football at this point.
I’d think KSU (if they become bowl eligible) will probably end up in the Independence/Insight/Sun Bowl. If KSU wins out (and that’s a big if), I’d say the Alamo Bowl is a possibility if they are 8-5 with a loss in the Big 12 CCG.
However, if they’re 7-5 and Nebraska goes to the CCG, KSU will be in a lower tier game.
Bring on the Cats

When is the last time Texas Tech dropped a game to A&M?
I didn’t see that happening even with Tech’s third stringers.
If you haven’t noticed, this is topsy-turvy season in the Big 12. Anything can happen.
Not saying that A&M will win — simply saying the risk is there, and when was the last time anyone other than a delusional Aggie could say that?
Dudes are trying to jinx us!
Let’s not mention the B-word until after this weekend, ok?
There appears to be a lot of confusion regarding our bowl eligibility.
Here is an article from shreveporttimes.com That thinks 5 teams in the Big 12 are bowl eligible…I only count 4:
Nebraska
Texas
Oklahoma State
Texas Tech
It really shouldn’t matter to them who wins between Missouri and K-State as either team will become bowl eligible with a victory.
Teams needing one win to be bowl eligible:
K-State
Iowa State
Missouri
Kansas
Oklahoma
Texas A&M
Other teams:
Baylor needs 2 wins
Colorado needs 3 wins – No excuses.
Hail to the Purple, Hail to the White
Wildcat in spirit, Wildcat in fight
Hail Alma Mater from sea to sea
Onward forever, Hail Victory!
Well it's an easy mistake to think we're already bowl eligible if you look at record alone.
Because honestly, who schedules two FCS teams in one season? Oh yeah, damn.
