Ahem, Denis Clemente Has Something to Say About That
"3. Sherron Collins, Kansas: Fastest player in the league is vital to KU’s success this season." (emphasis added)
I'll take Denis Clemente in that footrace, and I'll put all the money in my bank account on it. Which, admittedly, isn't very much money right now.

Denis is clearly
in a league of his own. It is possible he is the fastest in the NCAA at the moment.

Admittedly....
I haven’t seen a whole lot of Denis Clemente – and I’m possibly willing to concede he could be faster in a straight line, but absolutely no one in the nation – let alone the league – is faster in traffic.

How about during a basketball game with other players in the way?

WRONG
You clearly haven’t seen a whole lot of Denis Clemente, period.
Don’t worry. After Tuesday, you’ll understand.

You haven't seen Clemente play then...
Collis is NOT faster.
A better overall player? Probably. Faster? Hell no.

+1.
Collins is the quickest player I’ve ever seen in traffic. Kid is ridiculous.
Collins would probably lose in a 40-yard dash, for example, but if you give ’em both a ball and line ’em up at half-court, and have them dribble through and get to the lane, Collins wins. Easy.
I haven’t seen too much of Clemente, either, but I highly doubt that he is as QUICK as Sherron.

I would put several players before Collins
as the fastest in the Big 12. I do recognize he is faster than his body-type would have you believe, but c’mon.

Agreed
Jake is faster, too. Hell, at this point I would take Fred over Collins because I think Fred’s shooting at a better clip the last few games.
That entire list is a diss. Keiton Page (who?) as #3 newcomer, Clemente as #4, no mention of Jamar Samuels? KU-KSU doesn’t make the list of Top 10 games but OU is on there 5 times? Can you say “homers who haven’t seen K-State play except UK and Oregon?”
We are the biggest sleeper I have ever seen. All they did is regurgitate the Big 12 predictions of the media back in the fall, as if nothing has changed during non-con play. Journalism is dead.

No one can tell me that Khalid-El Amin Jr.
Is the fastest player in the league.
Granted, his chubbiness gives him added inertia as he plows into the lane, but he’s not that fast.

We'll see on tuesday
But if does collins get extra points for how many people he blows by? Because I’ve never seen a college player that was better at executing the 1on3 fast break.
Gonna be a fun game, glad I’m going to be there.
