Housing Slump

Man, that real estate market is a bitch.

Apparently, Lawrence is hurting more than I thought…

New Name

If I had a lot of disposable income, I would try to have it’s name changed. Maybe something like “Bill Snyder’s Other Stadium” or “Don’t let your children grow up to be Jayhawks Stadium”.

Actually, if I had that kind of money, I would probably be putting it toward KSU facilities. It’s the thought that counts though. Right?

My choice

Here’s what I would do (if I had the money). I’d get a lot of press generated and offer Sweet Lew $12M if it would be renamed “The Garbage Dump.” Then, then my friend, we would see how loudly money really talks in sports these days.

I can just hear it now: “This is Brent Musberger and we’re joining you today from Lawrence, Kansas, for the Sunflower Showdown between K-State and KU, played here at KU’s newly named stadium, The Garbage Dump!”

Of course, this is all purely hypothetical because I’m much closer to $12M in debt than I am to $12M in assets.

Man do I hate Longhorn fans, well except for the ones that actually went there.

That would be a very poor investment, mystman.

Your comment, or mine?

Yours is from that crappy song about buying a car (a Mercedes, or something). Mine, well, it might be from something, but I wasn’t intending a quote.
