Around SBN: VIDEO: Austin Rivers' Buzzer Beater Finishes Off UNC

I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'. The Chiefs and Dolphins played probably the most entertaining game of Arrowhead Stadium's season on Sunday, and they did it with temperatures in the single digits and a wind chill below zero.

Cue mystman995 telling us how cold it was in Chicago last night for MNF in 5...4...3...

Ha ha, ditto

It’s cold all over. I was downtown on Sunday with temps below zero and wind chills dropping to 30 below. That’s why I live in Dallas.

Man do I hate Longhorn fans, well except for the ones that actually went there.

I was at Arrowhead on Sunday.

Believe me, it was cold, but at least the sun was shining. I was thoroughly prepared with my K-State winter coat, some Under Armour, long underwear, and several hand/foot warmers. I didn’t get cold until the 4th quarter when the foot warmers stopped working and my left foot felt like an anvel. Other than that, well worth the free ticket to go, and the game was entertaining, even though KC lost. Someone get me some third down defense, seriously!

Don't ever say that

The packers are evil.

I know that...

I was just cheering on Jordy during the game.

However, me being a Vikings fan required that I hope the Bears would have lost. Now I have to hope that the Vikings can beat the Giants (not likely) or that the Bears lose to the Texans (I don’t know how good the Texans are, to be honest).

There is a good chance Chicago will be in the playoffs and the Vikings will not (which I’m sure you are okay with :) )

Aggressity is the mother of suspension.

The Giants

should be on cruise control right now. I really can’t see the Vikings dropping this one.

I also don’t like the idea of Kyle Orton leading a team to the playoffs again. Orton as a pro reminds me of Dylan Meier as a Cat. It’s just not a pretty thing to watch.

If the Vikes make it into the playoffs....

they probably won’t last long either. Especially if Peterson can’t hold onto the football. I’ve heard that his dad really lays into him about fumbling the ball…apparently it’s not what he needs.

He needs to carry around the football everywhere he goes and learn how to do everything else with one hand. Here, play this guitar, but don’t let go of that football!

Hail to the Purple, Hail to the White
Wildcat in spirit, Wildcat in fight
Hail Alma Mater from sea to sea
Onward forever, Hail Victory!

Too Bad...

The Chiefs just can’t close games. They’ve had 8 or so this year that they were leading, but couldn’t pull out.

With as mediocre as the AFC West is this year, winning 6 of those would put them in position to make the playoffs!

Still – Thigpen looks promising. Saw him play in college, and definitely didn’t expect him to make it this far.
