A Light Appears Yonder
Fellow BOTCers, thanks for sticking with us. I'm sure you've noticed that posting has been a little light the last week or two. While usually my status as a student permits me to live in a fantasy land devoid of real-world distractions/commitments/responsibilities, finals week(s) actually require that I stick my nose in a book and learn something, rather than do whatever it is I do the rest of the year. On top of that, my laptop apparently has more viruses than a two-bit hooker, and is therefore in the shop for the foreseeable future. Panjandrum and EMAW are afflicted with the real-world drudgery I outlined above, and have been helping out a lot by doing things that I haven't been able to do for a while (read: actually posting new content occasionally).
All that said, my last final exam is Wednesday, after which time I expect to pick back up with my regular posting schedule. I fully intend to start giving basketball season the attention it deserves, among other future post endeavors. Thanks for reading.

Too bad you're so far away...
I de-virus computers on the side for a small fraction of what a shop would charge…unless, said shop is paid in beer. Then again, I do work for less beers too!

Well, you may get your shot
Fortunately, still being in school, the IT department works on our computers for “free.” On the other hand, they’ve had it for almost a week and don’t appear to have made much progress. If they don’t get it taken care of by Friday, I’ll bring it back to KC and shoot you an email. But if you like a type of beer that’s only available in Texas, make sure you let me know before I leave so I can pick it up.
We'll carry the banner high!

I'm trying to think of what I had in Austin...
The name of it was Lagniappe, which I believe was brewed in Texas. However, Google is telling me a variety of places: Florida, Oregon, Louisiana…everywhere but Texas.
You may just have to suggest something, or just tell me it’s good and I’ll believe you. I’m not too picky, but I do prefer darker beers.
