Open Game Thread: K-State vs. Oakland

I like the intensity of our front court pressure.

Probably won’t post too much if I’m by myself. Not that I don’t enjoy spending time with myself, I’m actually pretty cool to hang out with…so says me.

Not a great setup here in KC, though. TV is downstairs, computer is upstairs.

If you haven’t seen this team yet, you’re going to love the defense. Yes, I understand this is Oakland. But they bring a lot of pressure and make life hard on the opposition. Nice shooting by Pullen in the earlygoing, too.

Man, this team is fun.

Dominique Sutton is going to be fun to watch on the defensive end this year. He reminds me of Akeem Wright.

I wonder if our phrenetic pace leaves us prone to these let-down phases of the game. We’ve missed a couple defensive assignments lately and have gone a little cold at the offensive end. Could use a nice little run before halftime to get back on track.

How improved is Luis Colon this year? He’s actually a serviceable big guy right now.

…profanity caught on camera. I caught a “Fuck that, man” from DK after that last foul call, and I heard Frank drop a “Goddammit _” on one of the big guys after a missed rotation on defense.

Not a bad first half. Not great, but not bad. Would like to see a big run at the beginning of the second half to put things away.

Time for me to score some brownie points and help the wife a little bit.

From the way Frank looked after Clemente took that last shot, I’m guessing it will be a good thing the camera isn’t following them into the locker room.
