Will Muschamp to Replace Mack Brown
Texas announced today that defensive coordinator Will Muschamp will be Mack Brown's successor as head coach of the Longhorns. As far as I can tell, there are no specifics on when Muschamp will actually take over, but it won't be before next year, apparently.
As an aside, this story was first reported on Orangebloods.com, which is the Rivals site for Texas. The story was confirmed later by Mack Brown -- Texas Football, UT home page for Texas football. Just goes to show that stories reported on on Internet fan sites can be true, after all. Let's hope we find out the same in a week or two.
For more, be sure to check out Burnt Orange Nation, where the celebration over Coach Boom probably won't end for several days.
