Ask A Husker
I am the mighty Corn Blight, from the wonderful Nebraska Cornhusker blog Corn Nation.
I come here in peace (mostly) to offer my expertise (ha!) and anwer any questions you might have about the Huskers. And football.
Hell, whatever else you want. Just ask.
Let me get one thing out of the way - Yes, we're still angry about the uncalled facemask against Eric Crough many years ago. You can't go back and make the call again. You can't make up for it. So we will hate you forever. Such is life.

Eric Crough was a douche.
That Crouch kid, though, was an absolute beast, I’ll admit it.
So which Joe Ganz is going to play Saturday? The good one or the bad one?

the good joe ganz!
The Huskers bounced back pretty well against Kansas after their debacle in Norman. I think you’ll see a team with a lot of confidence come into Manhattan knowing that they can have a pretty good year by winning their last two games.
Ganz – like most other quarterbacks – can make bad decisions if pressured, but I haven’t seen much life out of KSU’s defense, so I don’t think that’ll happen.
The key to this game is the start – which team can get out the the fastest, score first, and get momentum.

Do you know of anywhere
where I could take a look of this face mask? I’ve only seen it once and it was a crappy video. All I know is that I saw only a hand on the helmet and Crouch going down hard.

If you really need one from another angle to be 100% certain his hand was on Crouch’s face mask, then…. man I have to admire your ability to rationalize.

Now the second one
it appears that Mr. Crouch is a biter and clearly has a firm lock on his thumb. It’s not Travis’ fault that he couldn’t keep up with Crouch’s speed while enduring a painful bite. I hope he checked for rabies after that game, because Crouch is part owl of course…..

I keep a shotgun by the front door...
in case of rabid owl attacks. Just to be safe.

See the first one
he’s just checking to see how many steps he had on the defender. Also from what it appears is that Eric Crouch is part owl. And by my standards that puts him at an unfair advantage, you know like steriods do. The NCAA should have looked into this……
