Crabcakes and Napping,

this is what KU football does!

Man do I hate Longhorn fans, well except for the ones that actually went there.

might as well nap until then."

I will not apologize for being a Kansas basketball fan...

Seeking to pad their attendance stats...

KU has turned to the university morgue to find more fans. Consequently, the victims’ families have each been billed for season tickets.

KU rush offense...

…as exciting as taking a nap!

if there was one bright spot...

in the entire game Saturday is was the Ku rushing offense. Unfortunately, the coaching staff keeps forgetting that since halftime of the ISU game, it has been the most consistently good thing on the entire Kansas team.

In its natural habitat...

Mangino's vision is motion-based...

They should be safe as long as they don’t move their eyelids…or breathe.

We'll see

But with players like Jacob Pullen, Ron Anderson and Dominique Sutton, and the recruits we have coming in 2009 (Wally Judge, Rodney McGruder and Nick Russell), I don’t think we’re going anywhere.

not saying you are going anywhere...

just that up until the last two years…you weren’t there, hence hibernation…I was just referring to a less than stellar fan base similar to what you were implying about the Jayhawk Football fans.

I just want to point out that yes these folks were sleeping but...

god bless em…this shot was on TV well into the fourth quarter so I commend them for staying for the game…

Just trying to be positive :D

I suppose you could say that is supporting the team...

Then again, would a player be encouraged by that sight?

by MadCat on Oct 27, 2008 11:11 AM CDT up reply actions

Probably as encouraged as our team was by...

Watching me in the stands, blissfully ignoring what was going on while eating oversalted tortilla chips and processed cheese.

God, I love sports event nachos. I’d eat them every day if I could.

Texas A&M had...

…the best sports event hot dog I’ve had since Fairbury’s at Nebraska.

Sports-game nachos…mmm.

PJ, your smartass comments to nobody in particular probably were pretty encouraging, too.

I think the early games featured...

the leftover chips from the year before. My wife had some pretty stale ones early in the season. This weekend they were pretty good though.

Mission Statement

I’m not sure if BOTC has a mission statement or not. If it did, I’m sure it wouldn’t include “thinking of the positives when it comes to KU fans.”

I'm sure it wouldn't...

my positive thinking was for my sake not yours…
