Gameday!

Me and mystman will be rolling out of Houston shortly, on our way to CS/B. I think Panjandrum will be keeping things going on the live thread here, so check in at 1 p.m.

Confirmed

I will be around this afternoon.

This is not an occult science. This is not one of those crazy systems of divination and astrology. That stuff's hooey, and you've got to have a screw loose to go in for that sort of thing. Our beliefs are fairly commonplace and simple to understand. Humankind is simply materialized color operating on the 49th vibration. You would make that conclusion walking down the street or going to the store.

Holla if you hear me.

Good deal. Special teams, as usual, come up big

Way to get ahead boys. 14-3.

A win, but....

It is what it is. A victory, with A&M putting up the yards. At least we slowed down their run a bit (based on the stats.) Not seeing the game, I can only imagine that is only because they had such a great time tossing it on us.

It is not that I don’t get it; same mistakes and all that mumbojumbo. I’m not a complete dolt. Likewise, I’m not opposed to critical reviews of our team. What I have learned as a Raven’s ran is this. Our offense is always going to be in doubt. Our Defense will keep us there till the end. New coach, same team.

Thinking about it, just to refresh everyone on facts, KSU Defense has been missing for a while now. NOT just the last 3, but more like the last 5. K-State could always score, it is just we have had a hard time preventing others from scoring.

Like OU, Texas just rolled right through them, attacking the wings. Then gashing the center. See, he went for speed too. Speed does not stop the run as well as size. When you can run, you generally can open up the pass.

We ran, QB did well too. Which I like. It is what made us great in the not so distant past.

I’m glad we won. 4-2 looks better than 3-3.

To Beergut, your team played well, best of luck in the future.

D.

This makes the night better

Considering I was on lock down and was relying on a buddy to text me updates, I am happy with what transpired. I can’t wait to watch the game on reply on FSN so I can actually see how it all went down. While I wish our defense didn’t give up 30 points to a struggling offense, it sounds like they stepped up when we needed them most, which is what really counts. But, more on that later. Right now, it’s celebration time. Have fun at the Chicken, TB and mystman.

Back in Houston

It was a lot of fun to see the Cats win again, but it’s getting really old watching our defense give up 500+ yards per game. Review coming tomorrow.
