Open Game Thread: K-State vs. Savannah State

Who:  K-State vs. Savannah State
When: January 7, 2007 | 7:00 p.m.
Where: Manhattan, Kan. | Bramlage Coliseum (13,340)
Media: Yahoo! Sports, 1350 KMAN | No TV FSN Midwest

Use this as your thread to rebel against the BCS and discuss the K-State basketball game tonight.

Other Big 12 action tonight includes Oklahoma vs. Mount St. Mary's, Oklahoma State vs. Will Rogers State (wow), and Colorado vs. Tulsa.

Here is the Wichita Eagle's preview.  Here is a correction from the K-State AD Web site (K-State and Savannah state have actually met before, in 2004).

And in totally unrelated news, admitted dog-killer Michael Vick will serve time in the federal penitentiary at Leavenworth, Kan.

Wow

Cats win, 85-25.

Savannah State made one field goal (a three-pointer) and one free throw in the second half.  That's right, they scored four points.

More reaction tomorrow.

this box score can't be right......

My little brother said it best when he told me that he personally could have done a better job when he said that if he took only half-court-full court shots in the second half, he could have scored at least two buckets. Sad, but true.

I hope the Cat's keep it up with conference play. Really wished we would have ended with Xavier going into Norman.

......seriously?...did that just happen?
