K-State Volleyball Tops No. 14 Cal Poly

After a disappointing season last year, the Wildcat volleyball team is off to a better start this year.  Last night, they defeated preseason No. 14 Cal Poly in Wichita at the Shocker Classic.  Sounds like the 6'4" (that's right, I said 76 inches tall) Russian transfer (Nataly Korobkova) might be a big help to the Cats this year.

In other volleyball news, setter Stacey Spiegelberger is engaged to former Wildcat quarterback Allan Evridge.  They say the long-distance relationship thing (607 miles from Manhattan to Madison) is difficult.  Yeah, tell me about it (727 miles).
